Allina Health | Aetna Offers Access to MinuteClinic® at No Cost to the Member*

MinuteClinic services make it easy for members of small group, self-funded plans to receive high-quality, convenient care

MINNEAPOLIS – Employers who choose an Allina Health | Aetna self-funded plan will enjoy a new feature that increases access points to care for their employees.

Now, eligible members can access care right in their neighborhood at no cost to them by visiting MinuteClinic^®, a walk-in clinic inside select CVS Pharmacy^® and Target stores. In addition to a $0 co-pay, MinuteClinics^® provide many other benefits, including:

• A broad range of services to keep the whole family healthy. MinuteClinic health care providers treat and diagnose a variety of illnesses, injuries and conditions. They can also write prescriptions, when medically appropriate.
• Extended access to care as MinuteClinic is open seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. Members can walk in or schedule appointments online beforehand. Additionally, they can pick-up their prescriptions on-site.
• Preventative care, including flu vaccinations, physicals and treatment for medical matters that are not life threatening, such as ear infections and strep throat.
